Hello and welcome to Vivid Arts Magazine! The founders of this chaotic Senior Project are myself Alyssa Ortiz and my partner Samantha Brown. Over the Past five months we have created six monthly issues and counting as well as hosting our fantastic Art Show on February first.
You may know us as the girls who ask if you want to write articles, take our surveys, ask if you want a photo shoot, or the ones who put up pretty posters, for we run around campus at Santa Susana High trying to promote art and everything that surrounds it . We spend hours every day taking pictures, drawing on our computers, writing articles, promoting on Instagram, and doing crafts together and we wanted to share that experience with everyone else by putting in all the work to make this company we call Vivid Arts.
The reason why we created this company for our senior project was to spread art and to make a difference in our own school by giving students a platform and a voice. With every issue, we display student work whether it be written articles, photographs, projects, or designs. Magazine issues have ranged from Feminism to Diversity. We have tried to give others a voice and then furthering that with our very own art show on February 1st.
