When I first decided to take on a senior project I only had the intention of hosting an art show it was my goal since junior year when I heard of the first ever Arts Festival at Santa Susana. Little did I know that after talking to my best friend for about 20 minutes in the back of Ms. Carrigans room we would decide to partner up and create our brand Vivid Arts. Throughout the first months of our collaboration I spent most of my hours arranging photo shoots for my portfolio work, social media managing, perfecting my editing skills on photoshop, giving Sam advice and design help when she needed it, and planning out all details for the art show including countless meetings with administration, my mentor Mr. Abbe, and my adviser Mr. McAllister.
Not till late December did Sam and I truly start our collaboration for the iconic February magazine. after working 164 hours during January we realized we worked better when we were a true team. When we bounced ideas off each other, spent hours on padlet making inspiration boards, scheduled photo shoots together and nit picked every aspect of design together.
